Our work depends on Systems Engineer Senior joining our team to provide support for the Army Standard Software Baseline Configuration (SSBC) Program which currently produces the Army Golden Master (AGM), the mandatory software baseline configuration for the Army. HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. • Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project. • Web development, including designing, developing and maintaining a customer- oriented rich-User Interface (UI) website and the ability to maintain all related data in a timely and accurate manner. • Documenting designs and code and in performing configuration management. • Design, build and maintenance of physical and virtual IT environments. • System/network administration, including knowledge of mobile operating systems and Linux operating systems. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: • Required Experience: 5 years of related experience. • Required Technical Skills: Installation packaging tools and processes such as Microsoft Installer (.msi), Wise installer, Install Aware, Active Directory deployments and MS SCCM deployments. • Security Clearance Level: Secret. • Required Skills and Abilities: Expertise to integrate, package and install various application installation (.exe, .bat, .msi) into a standard process. • Preferred Skills: Enterprise experience with integration, implementation and deployment of virtualized desktop operating systems and applications. • Location: On Customer Site. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
