Our work depends on Graphic Specialist joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). HOW A GRAPHIC SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Responsible for graphics design and use, operation and setup of computer graphic systems for business communications. Executes graphic projects and assists in coordination of all graphic production scheduling; coordinates production support with outside contractors, as needed. Ensures that graphic projects are completed on time, within budget and to user's satisfaction. Interfaces with users to determine scope of project and best graphic medium. Trains other personnel in proper use of computer graphic equipment. Troubleshoots computer equipment problems and performs minor preventive maintenance. Collaborate with technical people/team to produce low level (detailed) to high level (made for managers/executives) to consume in trouble shooting or understand. Create guidance, style guides and templates for the development, revision, and delivery of internal and external communications materials. Aid in the preparation of briefings for leadership's presentation to our internal and government customers. Including, but not limited to, producing, and utilizing data visualizations, designing for PowerPoint presentations, and graphics for new work proposals. Work with subject matter experts to design, produce and deliver complex graphic products, to include participating in customer review meetings to guide project revisions and direct and define project requirements and plans. Collaborate across all service lanes within programs to gain understanding of all facets of the program and technologies. Facilitate discussions about how to visually represent complex analytic ideas. Ensure deliverables meet editorial and customer specifications, as applicable, and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience Required Skillset: Been on software/operations/technical programs Experienced with collaborating with technical people/team to produce low level (detailed) to high level (made for managers/executives) to consume in trouble shooting or understand. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
