About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Manager-Tax Accounting to assist with the Company's US tax operations team with tax reporting and tax compliance.
Compliance with all applicable tax regulations for financial services transactions and managing the tax compliance process
Analyze tax changes, create and maintain tax records for financial services tax laws and regulations
Assist Sr. Director and Sr. Manager with ad-hoc tax projects and other new initiatives
Preparation and review of provision calculations and related SEC financial statements and disclosures including but not limited to:.
Assist with purchase accounting and technical analysis of integration related income tax accounting.
Actively monitor tax accounting and corporate tax development and provide tax technical analysis and documentations.
Work closely with the Corporate Accounting, SEC reporting and other business partners to stay on top of transactions and accounting development that have income tax impact.
Manage tax forecasts and non-GAAP tax rate projection.
Manage the SOX processes and maintain SOX compliance.
Lead tax provision process improvement and automation to increase team efficiency and provision scalability.
Proactively manage and drive provision project deliverables. Build collaborative working relationships across the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/or related field 8 years of experience combined public accounting and/or industry experience
Solid understanding of ASC 740
Other Qualifications: CPA preferred Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts to non-tax team members
Problem solving, detail-oriented with strong analytic skills Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to research tax impacts for various company’s initiatives.
Big 4 public accounting experience and CPA preferred
Knowledge of Alteryx and other automation
