Description:

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from various sources, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and assess potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Prepare reports and updates for management on the status of the organization's security posture.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, including incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
