JOB DESCRIPTION If you are an engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will be responsible for engineering custom Coriolis Mass Flow and Density Measurement solutions to meet the specific needs of Emerson Measurement Solutions' customers and for continuously improving the designs of existing products. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Utilize Mechanical engineering principals to support and develop Coriolis flow meters. Develop a complete understanding of Coriolis meters and use that knowledge to advance the state of the art of meter design. Improve existing sensor designs with the latest technologies. Employ effective communication among the project team to achieve goals. Determine and utilize the technical design criteria for the project Ensure all project drawings are accurate and meet international standards. Work on multifunctional and multination projects teams. Perform design engineering calculations to support key projects Who You Are: You pursue engineering with a passion. You strive to learn new things. You do not shy away from a tough engineering problem but embrace the challenge. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor of Science in engineering required. Ability to collaborate with customers, sales, suppliers, operations, quality, marketing and other engineers to find optimum solutions. Sound engineering judgement and the ability to reconcile multiple points of view, concepts and requirements when finalizing a design. Good communication skills and capable of leading others through the design process to ensure the product delivered meets the needs of our customers. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Basic knowledge of Microsoft office Strong internship or Co-op experience highly preferred Two years relevant engineering experience, in which a good working knowledge of standard engineering principles, techniques, and applications has been obtained OR with a pertinent master's degree, no work experience required. Bachelor of Science Degree required in Mechanical Engineering. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $73,000-90,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
