Bunkhouse has designed and developed a celebrated portfolio of hospitality projects including Hotel San Jos, Hotel Saint Cecilia, Austin Motel, Hotel Magdalena and Jos Coffee in Austin, Hotel Havana and Ocho in San Antonio, El Cosmico in Marfa, Texas, The Phoenix in San Francisco, California, and Hotel San Cristobal in Baja, Mexico.
Were looking for someone with:
* Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry
* Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
* Ensure immediate response is given to any and all guest comments and concerns and inform immediate supervisor of concerns and assist implementing corrective measure when necessary
* Wipe tables and seats with dampened cloths, and replace dirty tablecloths
* Set tables with clean linens, condiments, and other supplies
* Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
* Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash
* Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
* Serve ice water, coffee, and standard appetizers (i.e. bread/butter or chips/salsa) to patrons
* Stock cabinets and serving areas with condiments, and refill condiment containers as necessary
* Locate items requested by customers
* Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment in food service areas and other areas of restaurants, and mop and vacuum floors
* Replenish supplies of food and equipment at service bars/satellite service stations
* Wash glasses and other serving equipment at bars
