JOB TITLE/LOCATION:

Field Sales Engineer- Albany, NY

DESCRIPTION:

The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for achieving Companys sales goals within the assigned territory by focusing on the management of existing customers, development of new opportunities, furthering strategic markets, and developing strong and rewarding internal and external customer relationships. This position, under moderate supervision and guidance, functions as the principal relationship manager to the customers in the assigned territory by aligning customers needs with Companys product and applications engineering, customer service, and marketing efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Responsible for effectively managing the sales effort in an assigned geographic area
  • Be the critical link between Dodge and our customers
  • An expert who consults with our customers to provide engineering/application assistance
  • A solution provider, not just a product salesperson
  • Extensively trained in all facets of company knowledge, industry applications, products, and effective solution selling principles
  • Attendance at work is an essential function of the job

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Industrial Distribution

EXPERIENCE:

  • Product knowledge
  • Selling to customer needs
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
