**Description**

**About the Position**

The inside sales support representative is responsible for cultivating and developing qualified lead appoints for the Transportation sales team via phone interviews. The inside sales activity that garners the most attention take advantage of the first 2-3 sentences to introduce their business to prospective candidates. He/she will use available resources to learn prospects businesses, identify business needs and proactively contact. Excellent communication and negotiation skills will be needed. This position requires a self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable individual to maintain on-going relationships and monitor activities with prospects. A sense of confidence and a positive, friendly attitude are important. The Inside Sales Manager must have the vision, drive and interpersonal skills to succeed.

**Functions**

* Coordinate opportunities and strategies with field sales team.

* Maintain knowledge of all Kenco products and services to develop and communicate appropriate sales solutions especially in the event of uncovering an opportunity outside of the Kenco Transportation division

* Leading sales efforts via cold calling, gathering sales intelligence and ability to handle objections.

* Using business development skills to identify, qualify, obtain, and develop relationships with prospective clients through the internet or other lead generating opportunities.

* Maintaining solid understanding of current market conditions and business trends to create sound value propositions when speaking with prospects.

* Driving profitable revenue and growth year over year through recognition and realization of opportunities

* Tracking and maintaining all sales activities in the company CRM (Salesforce)

* Participating actively in growth of division and exceeding team goals

* Gather information to make solid independent decisions.

**Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in business administration field or related degree

* Previous sales experience preferably in the Transportation Industry.

* Strong communication, organizational, & time management skills

* Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment are necessary.
