Summary:Residential Sales Representative will act as an ambassador for Brickworks and the Glen Gery Masonry Distribution Yard in South bend, IN . They will be asked to maintain good relationships with the existing customer base, as well as targeting new business opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing sales revenue and profits by developing rapport and selling all our lines of masonry and ancillary products.Duties and Responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:Establish accounts within the home builder community by developing long lasting business relationships with designers, architects, builders, general contractors and masonsDrive sales through strategic product placementConsistently achieve sales account prospecting and developmentEducate and inform on all Glen Gery masonry and cladding product offeringsNew Product Awareness/LaunchesHands on Demonstrations when NeededHelp in Estimating if NeededJob site visits and consultingWrite sales opportunities, quotes and ordersCoordinate with purchasing, customer service, dispatch, yard staff and other Glen Gery employees throughout the sales processEffectively communicate with manufacturer reps and plants on products and ordersWork hard to meet personal and team sales goals, quotas and deliverablesAttend meetings, sales events and training sessions - Some evening and overnight travel to be required occasionallyDevelop sales forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisReport and provide feedback to management teamUnderstand, learn, and potentially develop new trends within the industryAll other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
