Sales **Inside Sales Manager Sunnyside** Sunnyside, WA 98944 **Job Description** This position reports to the Sales/Customer Relations Manager and maintains a close working relationship with Customer Service, Production, and the Purchasing departments. The incumbent is a member of the Sales team and will directly support the sales efforts with specified customers, prospective customers, brokers and/or sales personnel. Duties to include but are not limited to; follow up, pertinent communications, problem solving with guidance from the Management team. The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully coordinates the production and shipment, with an emphasis on NFC Apple Juice and Toll Processing customers, promote the sales of Company products to designated accounts assigned by the Sales/Customer Relations Manager. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, reconciling, and maintaining, optimum inventory levels, assigned products to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements. The incumbent will be the liaison between the customer, sales, production, procurement, and finance departments to assure smooth and timely shipments. In addition, the incumbent will provide input and assistance to the logistics function. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** 1. Interface with customers (Direct and Toll Process), coordinate product availability, pricing, production timing and logistics for the delivery of orders. 2. Annual sales goals and other pertinent objectives set by the Sales/Customer Relations Manager and the Sales team for specified customers, prospective customers, and territories. Maintain sales contacts and data base updates for specified customers, prospective customers, and other groups designated by the Sales/Customer Relations Manager. 3. The incumbent will interface with purchasing/production planning. Work with Finance Department to develop costs; with customer service for logistics; with Production to ensure timely completion of order and stock on hand; with Purchasing to obtain products. 4. Meet or exceed annual sales goals and other pertinent objectives set to rate ones performance. 5. Services twenty to forty customer accounts. This will include making regular sales calls to develop relationships, follow up on leads and to establish long-term, ongoing, repeat relationships. This will require an in-depth knowledge of established sales quotas and goals. Duties will include resolving any problems with products and or services. 6. Develop and expand on both purchasing and product development contacts so as to accomplish in-depth selling of complete product lines to your specified accounts and territories. 7. Follows pricing objectives and reports needed variations and market data to accomplish set sales goals. 8. Gathers market information and reports to the sales team. 9. Coordinates sample, order, and contract administration execution for specified sales contacts with Customer Service Representative. 10. Promotes and expand sales for all products to specified accounts. 11. Education and/or Experience BS/BA from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Marketing, or industry experience. 3-5 years sales, customer service or production planning experience. Well developed sales skills. Technical knowledge of a manufacturing facility. Marketing and market planning knowledge. In-depth knowledge of target market industries. PC-based computing experience (word processing-Word, spreadsheet-Excel, email-Outlook). An equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend English. Excellent oral/written communication skills to inform and persuade customers. Effective language and human relations skills essential to developing and maintaining customers. Ability to create and deliver multi-media public presentations. Professional writing skills to compose memos, letters and other business correspondence observing all rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Mathematical Skills Quantitative skills to analyze product and production vis--vis sales goals and customer orders. Ability to analyze market sales data and make recommendations. Reasoning Ability Ability to work independently in absence of direct supervision; analyzing and identifying critical success factors relating to sales and take effective action. Ability to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions. Ability to manage details and comprehend full scope of Sales and Marketing goals. Environmental Conditions Standard office environment. Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions. Manages multiple deadlines. Moderate amount of travel in and out of state required. Physical Demands Mobility among office and plant facility. Ability to work in production plant environment which may include heat, cold, noise.
