Position Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team! This is a full-time weekday shift position working in an outpatient setting treating patients ages 12 and up.Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.
Responsibilities
- Opportunity to treat 1:1, therapist to patient, for an hour each visit with a max load of 8 patients scheduled in an 8 hour day
- Autonomy with treating a variety of patients
- A collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and learning from each other
- Develops treatment plans, sets goals, re-assesses and adjusts as necessary
- Adapts conventional physical therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients
- Writes discharge summaries
- Maintains accurate documentation
- Communicates orally and in writing with physicians, nurses and other personnel and agencies concerned with patient care
- Conducts or participates in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives
- Supervises PTA'S, students, and technicians performing patient care activities
- Performs other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required, Doctorate Degree preferred
- Must be certified as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required
