Lab/Quality Technician

So, what will you be doing?

In this role, you will beresponsible for measuring the quality and durability of manufactured woodpellets and ensuring that feedback is given to Operations when qualityexceedances are recorded. This position uses knowledge of regulatoryrequirements to assess, document and make recommendations for qualityassurance.

The core responsibilities andduties include: Conductanalyses of samples, compile data, identify out of spec samples usingmechanical or electronic equipment or chemical analysis Followsstandard operating instructions/procedures in the performance of alllaboratory areas Maintainquality control tools and quality assurance instructions; audit andmaintain lab test procedures; ensure that all test results are timely andaccurate Maintainan evergreen 5S program in the lab environment Approachissues, mechanical failures, and operational issues with a ContinuousImprovement mindset. (MBE) Who you are?

Do you have? High school diploma or equivalent required Minimumof 3 years industrial experience Abilityto adapt to working within a team or lone working environment, withminimal supervision Performquality control inspections and complete appropriate paperwork Musthave a professional attitude and work well with others Promotea safe working environment and follow all workplace and job safetyprocedures Knowledgeableof Lean/5S principles Competencies:Organizational Skills, Communication Proficiency, Technical Capacity,Leadership, Teamwork Orientation, Problem Solving/Analysis Self-drivenwith ability to adapt to working within a team or lone workingenvironment, with minimal supervision Commitmentto work safely and consistently demonstrate safe behaviors & attitude Demonstratesinterpersonal skills that enhance the team approach to work and problemsolving Then keep reading.
