LEAD ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

OVERVIEW OF THE LEAD AP SPECIALIST ROLE:

• The Lead AP Specialist will check and approve all vouchers for payment.
• Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
• Answer all vendor inquiries.
• Prepare accounts payable checks.
• Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files.
• The Lead AP Specialist prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
• Assist in monthly closings.
• Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR LEAD AP SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Accounts Payable
• Lead AP Specialist must have attention to detail
• 3 Way Match
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Solid computer skills, especially Excel
