About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering, Platform to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the execution of the technical vision to modernize the technology stack, with a focus on improving scalability, reliability, operational cost, and engineering productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the platform strategy and delivering solutions that enable common services. Key responsibilities include providing strategic direction and technical leadership to the platform engineering team, building and managing a world-class engineering team, leading platform architecture design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technology strategy. The role also involves driving innovation in products and services, ensuring quality, security, and compliance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in software engineering and a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. A deep understanding of healthcare data standards, proven experience in cloud computing, and microservices architecture, and proficiency in various programming languages and tools are essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high-quality platform solutions, experience in a large, multinational, D2C, or SaaS company, and a passion for learning new technologies.
