We are looking for a solution focused individual who can provide recommendations and innovative ideas to help move our teams forward. As a Senior Project Manager, you will support and lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the FoC. As a member of our operations team, you will collaborate with communities and leaders to architect our operations that shift and define an equity informed and bold culture that prioritizes wellbeing and community.

Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

Lead Shared Service projects and manage resources to achieve objectives in a timely manner and within budget. Lead Next Normal Operations Management Review (NNOMR) facilitators. Drive data reporting and analytics aligned with customer success criteria and metrics. Work across four unique companies to build forward thinking shared service operational models. Partner with shared service owners to ensure that they are effectively meeting operational objectives. Actively engage in review of metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented projects. Guide operational performance and service excellence within the Shared Service teams using performance data against defined performance/quality standards. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes. Develop and maintain a customer service culture within the Shared Services. Drive a culture of being solution focused. Identify constraints/root causes, removing barriers and bottlenecks. Seek out opportunities to support, provide insights, and recommend innovative ideas. Ensure that the right tools, processes, and resources are in place to ensure teams surface concerns or improvement opportunities and enact mitigating strategies/solutions to resolve issues timely and effectively. Meet regularly with Chief Operating Officer (COO) and shared service leads to support the work and escalate any issues. Ensure partnerships with key stakeholders are constructive and collaborative. Create a client-focused culture that pervades throughout the Shared Service operations. Drive initiatives through our Agile approach to work. Maintain flexibility and willingness to change approach and work tasks based on evolved strategy grounded in insights.

Project Planning

Create a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy. Plan for and monitor interdependencies between projects within a program.

Portfolio Management

Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.

Quality and Satisfaction

Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, report on progress and be open to feedback. Deliver to project stakeholders’ expectations or better and ensure their satisfaction with the results.

Manage Issues and Risk

Identify risks at the onset of projects and set in place a plan of mitigation. Resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Monitoring Progress

Constantly measure project progress and compare it to original plan. Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.

Reporting and Documentation:

Provide appropriate status reporting on project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, and risks to both the team and to stakeholders. Archive all project documentation at the end of a project, providing a history that can be revisited when planning for a similar project in the future. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.

Professional Expertise & Development:

Possess an extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques. Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.

Make continuous improvement a priority:

Have a solid grasp of basic and advanced project management principles and experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles. Continuous improvement is a distinctive characteristic of high-level project managers. Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience. Experience with managing Agile teams. PMP Certification a plus. 10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects. 7+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within cross-functional teams. 5+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation. 5+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.

Knowledge & Skills:

Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population. A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), especially Excel, PowerPoint, and related computer software. Proficient with project management applications such as Monday.com or Jira. Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision. Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy. Must be highly detail oriented. Strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace. Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously. Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace. Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.

Conditions of Employment

Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position. Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General. Must attend any required training.
