About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Engineering Manager to help our team build a modern, cloud-native platform to enable a smooth and efficient application development process for Workday's Business Applications. Responsibilities You will lead a talented and passionate team of developers, with empathy

You will ensure that the team’s work aligns with the broader organization’s goals and strategy

You will promote innovation, while delivering frequent and high-quality solutions to production

You will help plan and deliver our feature releases and work with teams to line up dependencies across our organization

You will be a great partner for our colleagues in Product Management, Project Management, QA, and adjacent development teams

About You Basic Qualifications Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related engineering disciple

5+ years experience leading and managing engineering teams

Other Qualifications A number of years experience as a developer would be advantageous

You have experience in a fast-paced, startup-like work environment where we often don’t have all the answers at any given moment in time

You have a proven ability to recruit, build, motivate and inspire a world-class team of developers

You have a growth mindset, are a constant learner and thrive in a learning culture

You have a good knowledge of OO, design patterns, and modern frameworks, tooling, and libraries

You ensure on-time and high quality delivery of projects

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $211,200 USD - $316,800 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $173,900 USD - $316,800 USD
