Job Description

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

Serves as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Establishes self as highly credible leaderwith highest levels of integrity and always acts in the best interests of theproperty and the company. Acts as a rolemodel and coach while developing employees using a consistent, approachabledemeanor and clearly articulating expectations. Ensures that team members clearly understand and are held accountablefor their performance expectations. Provides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groupswhen consistent superior performance is attained. Works as a change agent and challenges thedepartmental processes to improve and streamline department operations, throughthe continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes andprogram effectiveness and value. Demonstrates excellent facilitator skills in determining a vision,aligns and inspires the team to achieve the vision. Partners and coordinates with otherdepartments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in asafe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivatedemployees. Embraces, role models andimplements all elements of our customer service program including Spotlight onSuccess and Buzz Sessions, and tier prioritized service. Recommends and implements change to improveoverall employee and guest satisfaction. Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values ofHarrah's Entertainment Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment.

Assists the Cashiering Assistant Manager inperformance of duties and assumes full responsibility in their absence. Monitors casino cashiering activities on thefront line, in the specialty banks, in the main bank and redemption areas. Assists in the preparation and coordinationof scheduling casino cashiering personnel. Works specialty bank or front line upon request. Position is located in a cigarette smokeenvironment. Monitors money room activities on the racing level.

Complies with and upholds company expectationsincluding Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations,department goals and business strategy. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and findsanswer when unsure. Uses Spotlightbehaviors when encountering guests. Actsas a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's andencourages other to do the same. Meetsthe attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental andcompany policies.

Qualifications:
Requirements:

High school diplomaor equivalent experience preferred. Aminimum of 1-2 years related experience required. A minimum of 1 year supervisory experiencerequired. Ability to communicate withall levels of management in a clear, friendly, and confident manner. Must be able to get along with co-workers andwork as a team. Must present awell-groomed appearance. Must be able tomaneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas andrespond to visual and aural cues. Musthave the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary officeequipment. Must be self-motivated and beable to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized. Must be able to read, write, speak andunderstand English. Good mathematicaland clerical aptitude for accurate record keeping. Excellent customer service skills a must.

Actsas a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit toHarrah's and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies andprocedures.

Is able to work in smokefilled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods oftime.

Must be able to obtain and maintainthe appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
