Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

  • Graduation with Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to the job, plus five (5) years of experience in a field related to the job, including two (2) years of experience which were in a supervisory, project or program management capacity.
Licenses or Certifications:

Valid Texas Class C Driver License.

This position will report directly to the Parking Enterprise Manager and be responsible for oversight of mobility programs, including shared mobility solutions like dockless e-scooters, e-bikes, car share, and other emerging alternative mobility technologies and solutions. In addition, this position will help organize, plan, and implement strategic projects and capital improvements that include coordinating with Active Transportation for bike lane and parking infrastructure improvements, and Vision Zero on safety infrastructure enhancements.

The Mobility Demand Program Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, budgeting, and supervising the daily activities and operations of program employees. The Program Manager will lead and provide strategic direction to multiple work teams to successfully deliver high-need, time-critical projects in service to the Department's multi-modal safety and mobility goals.

This position manages its own operating budget and a team of FTEs. This position requires coordination with leads in multiple departments in the City, as well as collaboration with public transit agencies and regional transportation policy makers.
