The Opportunity:

This position will be responsible for fundraising, developing and executing an effective investor communications strategy, performing financial analysis, presenting annual reports, and maintaining strong relationships with investors.

The Vice President of Investor Relations will have a proven track record of success and work closely with Executives and Senior Leadership, project management of current and future fundraises and deliver a high-quality service to the existing institutional investor base.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing fundraising through both internal efforts and by working with third party marketing firms;
  • Building relevant relationships (e.g. with family offices, Private Equity Funds);
  • Providing financial analysis to the General Partners across funds;
  • Investor reporting on quarterly and annual basis;
  • Organizing investor conference days and other offsite events;
  • Project managing the acquisition team in sell- and buy-side efforts;
  • Assisting with operational duties within the fund(s);
  • Communicating and reporting to investors representing the General Partners;
  • Answering and dealing with investor enquiries or questions; and
  • Any of other assistance required and needed in relation to the fund(s).
Required Skills:
  • Proven fundraising track record;
  • Experience in project management within an investor relations team or placement;
  • Track record of engaging both with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority;
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and excellent English written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to be pro-active in resolving issues; and
  • Strategic, confident and able to handle complex situations with a high degree of maturity.
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required;
  • Experience working in an investment bank or similar environment;
  • 10+ years of experience as a Department Head; and
  • 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations/Business Development.
