This is a unique opportunity to work on complex litigation matters that span international borders, particularly between the United States and Canada. This role will require a strategic thinker with an understanding of subrogation and diverse litigation processes. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of complex cross-border litigation cases from inception through to conclusion. Conduct detailed and thorough depositions to gather necessary information for the case. Oversee subrogation processes, ensuring all steps are correctly followed and documented. Liaise with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders in both the United States and Canada to coordinate litigation efforts and ensure effective communication. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies that take into account the laws and regulations of jurisdictions involved. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on cross-border litigation matters, helping them to understand potential risks and outcomes. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations in the United States and Canada that could impact litigation cases. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a consistent and effective approach to cross-border litigation. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in litigation in Canada Active bar license Strong familiarity with the legal systems and regulations of both the United States and Canada. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about complex legal issues. High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
