We are actively seeking a Production Planner to add to our team!
Requirements
Determines lead times for manufacturing customer orders
Reviews production schedule and MRP reports and initiates purchased material requisitions and shop floor jobs
Obtains or requests documents such as op sheets, blueprints, pick lists, and routings and combines documents to create a job packet
Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment
Distributes job packets to specified departments
Expedites production of parts and purchases
Maintains order policy and lot sizing information in accordance with established policy
Reviews and reacts to Engineering Change Notices (ECN's)
Processes and schedules subcontract vendors
Creates rework jobs in conjunction with manufacturing engineering
Qualifications:
Three to five years experience planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Great attention to detail
Experience using an ERP system, Infor Visual is a plus
