Parts room Clerk - Military veterans preferred

summary 1st shift Parts room Clerk! 6 am to 3 Pm Monday to Friday! Pay rage based on Experience $20 to $22 per hour. Under direction of Plant Manager/ Maintenance manager, completes requisitions for parts, equipment and supplies needed by Maintenance, including maintaining adequate inventory on hand and storing and dispersing items receive or requested. Completes Purchase Order Requisitions for parts, equipment and/or supplies needed to replenish inventory on hand or to fill internal requests for same. Ability to work cooperatively with other associates, vendors and carriers with little supervision Completes Purchase Order Requisition, including calling for cost information and confirming cost and delivery date. Checks items received against those ordered; completes paperwork required to return damaged items to supplier after notifying Maintenance Lead. Ability to complete short and long term projects and deal with multiple tasks and prioritized duties. Takes inventory of stock room items and prepares Purchase Order Requisitions to replenish low supplies. Perform regular maintenance on factory parts. Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with internal and external suppliers, customers and internal functional groups. Responsible for informing the leadership team immediately of any failure to meet established quality standards. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership team. required-skills: Mechanical skillset Ability to speak, read and write English in order to carry out instructions and communicate with others as needed. Strong problem solving, follow-up, and decision making skills a must. Requires strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, etc.).
