About the program: The incredible performance of foundation models is disrupting every aspect of AI research and development. As industrial advances in AI continue to reach new heights research has been limited by access to industry-scale trained foundation models. In addition to ongoing research and model improvement, it is essential to include the deep and diverse expertise and perspectives to comprehend foundation models' potential impact on science, individuals, and society and to explore their potential for additional real-life scenarios.

Goals and objectives: We are looking to accelerate AI research and the development of use cases that can complement human ingenuity by increasing availability of industry-scale foundation models. Through this program, we hope to re-imagine AI learning and research using foundation models while also exploring new use cases that can complement human ingenuity through diversified academic expertise.

Duties: • Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. • Drive program/project schedules and status reports. • Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. • Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. • Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

Role Specifics: • 5-7 years of experience required • Prior roles engaging with universities and external customers or partners is preferred • Deep project & program management experience required with strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to multi-task and prioritize across varying workstream types • Ability to work with and understand different types of data is preferred • Develop, track and manage BI project budget, project plans, timelines and scope • Partner closely with other members of functional project teams • Prepare and present usage reporting; PowerBI experience required • Communicate project status and proposed program strategies with senior stake holders, researchers and others • Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized • Make presentations to researchers and project sponsors • Facilitate program onboarding, and ongoing program service for 100-150 researchers • Create and facilitate events for 10-50 professors and researchers • Documentation creation experience a plus
