Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Duration: 3 Months Contract Location: Chicago, IL, 60657 Shift timing: 23:00 - 07:30, total of 40 hours per week (Monday- Friday) Job type: Night Shift Payrate: $ 33.83/hr Client: Ascension Health Visa Status: USC and GC only Summary Department: Respiratory Care Shift Timings: 23:00 - 07:30 Monday to friday (5 Days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 Hours Roles & Responsibilities ssess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome. Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team code. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. NBRC RRT/CRT Certified, BLS/NRP and Neonatal Pediatric Specialist by NBRC preferably. 1 Year experience in ICU/NICU.
