Title **Warehouse/Delivery Driver - LA**
Description TMB offers products and services to entertainment production and staging professionals, as well as architectural lighting specifiers and designers worldwide. With offices in Los Angeles, London, New York, Toronto, Beijing, and Riga, TMB sells and supports a wide range of leading brands, many of which are highly technical and proprietary.
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for assisting in all aspects of TMB LA warehouse operations. This includes shipping, receiving, deliveries, and general warehouse & vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Daily inspection of vehicles and completion of driver logs.
Carry out scheduled deliveries and pick-ups.
Assist in shipping and/or receiving as needed e.g., picking/packing orders, inspecting goods, stocking shelves.
Assist in the handling of will call orders.
Assist with cycle counts.
Monitor and fulfill warehouse work orders.
Assist in Cabling department as needed.
Deliver recyclable materials to recycling plant.
Deliver scraps to scrap yard quarterly, or as needed.
Keep Warehouse clean and organized.
Dispose of warehouse trash.
Assist with general building maintenance e.g., painting re-organization, basic repairs, etc.
All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Position Requirements **Qualifications and Education Requirements:**
2+ years of general warehouse experience. Understanding of Operations processes and dynamics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have valid Drivers license with no major infractions. Must be able to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines while maintaining a positive demeanor.
**Physical Requirements:**
Frequent standing, walking, reaching. Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch. Ability to exert 30-60 lbs. of force occasionally, 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Operating a forklift.
**Preferred Skills:**
Forklift experience. Knowledge of SBT. Experience within the A/V industry.
**Schedule:**
8 hours per day, M-F, with occasional overtime and/or weekends as needed.
