Primary Responsibilities Include:
Perform new patient evaluations and examinations
Determine necessary PT based on prescriptions, referrals, patient conditions, and records
Plan, prepare, and administer treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data
Evaluate and record the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust to achieve maximum benefit
Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuum of care
Keep timely documentation including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, and discharge summaries
Communicate with referring physicians
Successful Candidates Must Have:
Current license to practice physical therapy in Texas
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
Experience or interest in Pelvic Health will be highly valued
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for learning and working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient patients
One year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred but not required
