OVERVIEW

The Product Manager is responsible for being an integral part of the development and delivery of our elluminate software product. This Product Manager role is key for developing customer/market-driven technical requirements and specifications for solutions that address clinical development challenges, creating product development road maps, and defining and analyzing product success metrics. This position will report to the Vice President of Product Management.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Gain a deep understanding of unmet customer/market needs; identify approaches to automate and accelerate delivery of solutions addressing clinical development challenges; fill product gaps and generate new ideas/products that grow market share; improve customer experience; and drive revenue growth.

* Translate product strategy into technical requirements and specifications through consultation with stakeholders, Development Engineering, and SQA.

* Assure requirements defined and documented in user stories are developed in accordance with Development Engineering needs including timing and level of specificity.

* Manage product delivery through Agile development practices including participation in Triage sessions, Sprint Planning, and Backlog grooming sessions to assure development progresses as planned and all deviations are communicated.

* Develop metrics to assess the success of product and features and determine necessary enhancements.

* Scope and prioritize product development activities based on business and customer impact.

* Provide regular periodic updates to eClinical Solutions stakeholders.

* Work closely with the engineering team to deliver quick time-to-market development using optimal resources.

* Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the product.

* Lead production of Release Notes and collaborate with Technical Writing on product documentation and associated materials such as on-line Help content and explanatory videos to support customer adoption.

* Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & LANGUAGE

* Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Factors, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, or Data Science and related on the job experience.

* Excellent knowledge of English

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in enterprise software product management is a must.

* 3 plus years of experience with clinical development is strongly desired.

* Must have strong technical aptitude.

* Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

* Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

* Must have understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.

* Self-motivated to prioritize and manage

* Knowledge of the pharma and life sciences

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Experience with Agile

* Experience with enterprise

* Software Product Management specific training
