Director of Pharmacy - Military veterans preferred

Location: Lufkin, TX

Hospital:

• 150 Bed short-term acute care hospital
• Part of a larger healthcare system

Director of Pharmacy Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all drug distribution in the facility
• Ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal services; meets all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards
• Required to be onsite.
• Other duties as assigned.

Director of Pharmacy Qualifications:

• Graduate from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school. Bachelors required. PharmD preferred
• Five plus (5+) years of hospital pharmacy, including two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Texas or Eligible
