Job Description
Accountable for project budget, resources, and scope

To provide onsite support and guidance to customers, installers, and sub-contractors.

To provide onsite support to Systems and Technical Services

Primary responsibilities include:

Take ownership of a project from commencement of installation, throughout its execution to its completion

Provide Systems Division and factory commissioning of systems

Conduct frequent site visits to support the needs of the project

Maintain close working relationships with foreman, installers, field project managers and any other customer-related supervisors

Manage onsite technicians and sub-contractors

Manage on-site politics and relationships

Supervise onsite installations, including fixture prep, hang, and focus

Manage system startup process, daily schedule, and correspondence with site stakeholders

Carry out onsite product or system training

Conduct systems commissioning or programming

Be knowledgeable of project-related plans and specifications

Maintain a high level of communication with contractors and clients

Attend internal project meetings with Systems Division

Maintain customer and job files

Train new customers on operations and maintenance of new system

Keep updated and informed of new products and system operational software

Provide support and troubleshooting services to customers. Included both on-site and phone support

Managing budget, execution of purchases, and maintaining billing and proper documentation for the job

Attend factory training with appropriate frequency to maintain "state of the art" technical support

Secure and return completed commissioning reports to factory

Accompany our subcontracting companies to help with logistics, material, and other needs to carry out customer requests properly.

Requirements

Possess understanding of entertainment and architectural lighting and control systems

Possess understanding of DMX and network control configurations and wiring

Possess basic electrical skills practices

Working knowledge electronic theory and standards

Ability to follow direction

Able to supervise and navigate construction site - ability to work well with contractors and subcontractors.

Proficiency with hand, power and pneumatic tools.

Proficiency with soldering and de-soldering practices

Ability to read and understand construction documentation

Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing

Good organizational skills

Good customer service skills

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to travel within the Orlando Market
