Job Title: Commercial Project Manager Location: Dallas, Texas Company Overview: Our client is one of the largest General Contractors in the state of Texas specializing in Commercial and K-12 construction. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead and oversee our commercialal construction projects in the Dallas area. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage commercial construction projects from initiation to closeout, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, budget, and timeline. Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines. Manage project resources, including subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating decision-making to keep projects on track. Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and permits, and ensure accurate record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively identify risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and closeout meetings, and prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action items. Ensure project completion within budget, schedule, and quality expectations, and facilitate project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and client handover. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in Interiors, Retail, Higher Education construction projects. Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, materials, and practices, with a focus on commercial facilities. Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, permits, and compliance requirements for commercialal facilities. PMP certification or similar project management credentials are a plus. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
