Join Fingerprint as our Director of Product, where you'll be instrumental in driving the development and execution of our cutting-edge API-first product initiatives. In this dynamic role, you'll lead a skilled team of product managers and collaborate extensively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality technical products that align with our strategic business goals.

Responsibilities:

Product Management and Strategy:

Develop and refine the product strategy, focusing on API solutions that meet market demands and customer needs. Conduct thorough market research and gather customer insights to guide product development. Collaborate with the VP of Product to ensure alignment with the overall company vision and objectives.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Work closely with the Engineering team to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure technical robustness. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align product offerings with customer demands and feedback. Coordinate with Marketing to support go-to-market strategies and successful product launches.

Product Roadmap and Execution:

Manage the product planning process, balancing short-term wins and long-term vision. Oversee the product development lifecycle for API-centric products, focusing on innovation, usability, and quality. Implement best practices in product management to continuously elevate the product development process.

Customer-Centric Focus:

Advocate for a customer-first approach, ensuring products are developed with the user in mind. Utilize customer feedback and data-driven insights to enhance product features and user experience.

Team Development and Mentoring:

Lead and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to your team, ensuring high engagement and performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on API-first products and technical solutions. Experience in API development, engineering practices, and building robust, scalable products. Proven ability in leading product teams and driving successful product launches in a tech-focused environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and project management.
