The Office of Clinical Research is seeking an exceptional candidate for the Senior Regulatory Program Manager (GS 13/14) role. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of clinical research, regulatory and policy requirements especially NIH, OHRP, and FDA requirements. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of clinical research, a COR II certification with the ability and willingness to obtain a COR III certification, excellent project management and technical writing skills, experience with developing policies and procedures, and demonstrated ability to work with external and internal collaborators and manage multiple projects at a time.

Role and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Serve as a COR for NIAs Clinical Research Support Services contract;
  • Be involved in regular collaboration across NIAs Extramural Divisions;
  • Work with external and internal collaborators and manage multiple projects at one time;
  • Develop policies and procedures based on best practices.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least a Level II Contract Officer Representative (COR) certification and be willing and qualified to obtain a Level III COR Certification;
  • Experience overseeing contracts as the primary COR for at least 6 months;
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of Clinical Research and associated regulations, policies, etc.;
  • Excellent Project Management skills;
  • Excellent Communication and Technical Writing Skills;
  • Experience with developing policies and procedures.
