Project Cost Controls Specialist F+G

performs a variety of routine technical tasks to assist project managers, cost managers, facility assessors, construction managers, estimators, or other technical professionals working in program and project management, strategic facility consulting, project assurance, and other advisory services.

How will you contribute to the team?Gathers, logs and summarizes project data to be used in technical studies or project performance reviewsAssist in Project Estimate development with Project ManagerManage change order processInvoice reviewAssist with annual budgetingResponsible for Project cost tracking and forecastsResponsible for progress reportingDevelop "in service" cost profilesVariance explanationsDevelop cost profilesDevelop payment applicationsTrack AFE funding levelsLog Accruals and track outstanding invoicesSpends analysis and WBS coding

What will you contribute?Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field, plus zero - three years relevant experience in project/cost controls.Microsoft Excel and Computer skills required to enter data in spreadsheets or databases.Experience managing large data sets and performing pivot tables and lookups for analysisGeneral Competencies expected of all employees are as follows: Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality, and Teamwork.Performs routine technical support assignments.
