Job Description

Associa Chicagoland is seeking a qualified Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) in Schaumburg, IL, to join our team. As a CAM, you will work closely with our clients and vendors and partner with other Associa departments. To be successful in this role, you will need great customer service skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare requests for proposals.
  • Perform monthly or bi-monthly property inspections for reporting requirements.
  • Produce a monthly action list.
  • Process invoices.
  • Perform quality control of vendor's performance.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and committee members.
  • Understanding of association governing documents.
  • Candidate must be extremely organized can handle multiple tasks.
  • Managing people.
  • Preparation and presentation of budgets
  • Routine architectural knowledge and inspections are a plus.
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings as contractually required.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service bids and contractor supervision.
  • Produce Management reports and prepare agendas for Board Meetings.
  • Be available for after-hour emergency maintenance calls for the property.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as a Community Manager through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
  • Prefer CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designations.
  • Three years of experience as a Community Manager preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
  • Consultation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation.

  • A team player with good business skills.
  • Someone self-motivated.
  • Possess the ability to read and understand a financial report.
  • Facilities and project management experience a plus.
