About the opportunity
As the IT Operations Team Leader, you will oversee IT operations and will lead a team of skilled IT professionals while remaining hands-on. You will provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to the organisation and its users.
To add a bit of diversity to the role you will also be involved with some IT project management responsibilities, allowing you to showcase your organisational prowess and drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Lead a team of IT professionals and provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure seamless operation of IT systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal departments and external vendors.
Take the helm in managing IT projects, from planning and resource allocation to ongoing monitoring, guaranteeing timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training and support to your team, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Maintain the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware/software components, ensuring optimal performance.
About you
Five or more years of IT experience and at least three of those years in managing a team of IT support professionals.
Strong technical support skills in networking, server administration and expertise in O365 and Windows Server 2008-2019.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong abilities to lead, motivate and guide a team to achieve their goals.
Exposure or experience in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Any ServiceNow administration experience would be highly regarded.
