**Mechanical Department Manager** Mechanical Department Manager Mechanical Overland Park , Kansas Full-Time Sep 3, 2021 DPS is currently hiring a Mechanical Department Manager for our Overland Park, KS office. We are seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer with leadership capabilities and extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical/Bio engineering project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and participate in project proposals, man-hour estimating and client presentations * Participate in presentations at industry conferences and writing of papers in publications. Identify and research future industry trends. Keep on top of technology and industry developments * Support Business Development for client engagement at senior levels * Review detailed mechanical designs * Manage HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection team * Manage work assignments * Recruit and develop staff * Provide technical backup to the operations teams in resolving complex mechanical problems **Skills & Qualifications** * Prepare and participate in project proposals, man-hour estimating and client presentations * Participate in presentations at industry conferences and writing of papers in publications.
