VP, Software Product Management

The Vice President of Software Product Management is a key leadership role within the Solution Management team, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of Park Place Technologies software products. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery and market adoption of software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Software Product Management Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering collaboration and ownership across cross-functional teams.
    • Empower product managers to make data-driven decisions and champion user-centric product development.
    • Mentor and coach product managers, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Go-to-Market Execution:
    • Oversee the software product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.
    • Manage software product development budgets and resources efficiently.
    • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product launches and successful adoption.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage data analytics to track product performance, measure user engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct A/B testing and iterate on product features based on data insights.
    • Communicate product performance metrics effectively to stakeholders and secure buy-in for strategic decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and partners.
    • Present software product vision and strategies persuasively to senior leadership and external audiences.
    • Build strong relationships and partnerships across the organization to drive successful product outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in software product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing successful software products.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for technology and a keen understanding of the software industry.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams is a plus.
