Job summary:

We are looking for a BIM Specialist, based out of Dallas TX at DFW airport office for our Building & Facilities division to contribute technical support to engineering and building design teams in compliance with STV and client requirements. You will enjoy outstanding opportunities for applying and implementing innovation in project production through direct collaboration with project team members from architectural and engineering disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply industry specific knowledge and experience in BIM design technology and/or AEC design workflows to support project team production
  • Create quality assets for the enterprise digital design library such as families, templates, Revit Schedules, Dynamo graphs, scripts, applications, etc.
  • Monitors Revit Models submitted by designers for errors and enforces model/drawing cleanup/audit making sure the designers follow the DFI Standards
  • Provide day to day support of design technology software
  • Maintain standard processes for model setup, asset creation, and development
  • Assist in the development of and enforcement of BIM execution plans and templates
  • Alerts design team members of software changes applicable to discipline specific workflows
  • Provide design technology solutions to monitor the deliverables received from MEP engineers and architects as needed based on observed deficiencies
  • Enforce project deliverable quality per the client and contract standards
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and Experience with Building Information Modeling Software
  • Able to complete tasks with respect to deadlines
  • Team player, able to work with multiple teams and projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Minimum 3 years AEC Industry of experience using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge in Construction Documentation production, and AEC means and methods
  • Understanding of 2D design drawings and 3D design intent and coordination model information
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 administration and operation
  • Synchro 4D experience recommended, not required
  • Passion for innovation and utilizing existing and new technology for design
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
Preferred but not Required:
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and estimating
  • Interest/Knowledge in C# and/or Python
Education Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of College or vocational School experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • 2 years of college or Vocation school training in BIM Software
