We are currently seeking a Product Manager.

What Will You Be Involved With?

Product Managers for Chicago, IL location. Determine the scope and priority of software/IT projects. Define and track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Independently identify and prioritize key product features and goals of IT projects. Review exchange API specifications and exchange notices to gain insight into planned software enhancements and upgrades. Develop software projects based on the demands of end users, cost, revenue potential, time-to-market, service, and availability standards.

Understand customer objectives and translate them into specific business and software requirements, and detailed, functional requirements and technical specifications. Serve as a liaison between intermediate product teams and sales, support, customer success, marketing, and engineering.

Communicate with external customers and internal teams to deliver business cases, user guides, use cases, white papers, release notes, training content, and marketing materials. Understand industry regulations and compliance requirements. Maintain automation stability racks. Lead cross-functional teams in quality assurance processes and release planning to track releases. Mentor junior IT staff.

Technical environment: electronic trading systems & technologies (Order Management, Market data feeds, Exchange management); Linux commands to view configuration files, analyze log files, and run tools on Linux nodes; Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Github, SQL, REST API, Domo visualization tool;

Python, Selenium driver, waterfall, agile, multi-threaded applications, object-oriented design, web development, PHP/Javascript, Wireshark, and TCP dump; FIX protocols; Agile/Scrum.

What You Bring to the Table

*Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus two years of experience as a Test Engineer or with software testing required.

Required skills: Project management experience, including the ability to define and track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; demonstrated experience identifying and prioritizing key product features and goals; experience with electronic trading systems and technologies (Order Management, Market data feeds,

Exchange management); hands-on experience with Linux commands to view configuration files, analyze log files, and run tools on Linux nodes; Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Github, SQL, REST API, Domo visualization tool; Agile Scrum; experience with quality assurance processes and release planning to track releases; FIX protocols; strong communication skills. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus five years of progressive experience as a Test Engineer or with software testing is also acceptable.
