We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Creative Analytics team. This person will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to create sophisticated, insightful, trusted, and performant analytics solutions. The Engineering Manager will be a player/coach, managing a small team while also contributing directly to our Creative Analytics solution. Responsibilities: Exercise creative problem solving to address the technical challenges inherent with big data in order to drive rapid delivery of customer value Enable and ensure a highly productive team, removing blockers, instructing on technical options, and aligning skills with opportunities Integrating product, design, and engineering goals to strike the right balance between new product features and long term system health Design, build, and maintain services to achieve the highest quality of service and continue to meet large scale scalability and meet consumer grade visualization performance SLAs Set the bar for technical excellence and service ownership and promote patterns and best practices for implementation, testing, observability, deployment, and release orchestration Work with product managers, front-end engineers, and product designers to define the product requirements, scope, and business impact Lead advanced analytics technical designs, code reviews and apply advanced data correctness testing strategies A player/coach, you’re comfortable with hands on coding work and will roll up your sleeves to get the job done (there will be a coding test conducted in the interview process) Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, required Experience with large-scale noSQL databases (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.), required 8+ years of experience in full stack software engineering 3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including proficiency in core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway), AWS architecture and best practices, serverless and container-based deployment, infrastructure management (CloudFormation or Terraform), and familiarity with AWS CLI and SDKs 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following machine learning topics: classification, clustering, optimization, recommendation system, graph mining, deep learning Strong understanding of AWS security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (IAM, Cognito, AWS KMS), as well as experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, and AWS Config Significant hands on experience with TypeScript or Java Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with visualization driven products Experience with Generative AI and LLM, a plus Experience in AdTech or MarTech startups, a plus About VidMob VidMob is the leading creative effectiveness platform, trusted by the biggest global brands to drive ROI through AI-driven creative data.
