Registered Nurse - NICU - Full Time Nights

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York, is a community teaching hospital serving residents of Queens and metro New York. The 535-bed tertiary care facility provides services in 14 clinical departments and numerous subspecialties, with 15,000 surgeries, 4,000 infant deliveries, and 124,000 emergency service visits each year. At NYP/Queens we have a 14-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for newborns who are premature (less than 32 weeks), have a serious illness or condition, or need close observation in a monitored setting. This is a Full Time Night (37.5 hrs/wk; 13 shifts/month; 7P - 7A) shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. Rotating holidays and weekends.
Required Criteria
- At least two years of acute care RN experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification with American Heart Association; Specialty certification a plus
- NRP certification (can obtain within 6 months of hire)
Preferred - Experience working with children.
- Experience working in Pediatrics
