We believe our competitive differentiators are our people, systems, and technology including a custom e-commerce platform and enterprise system. **Position Overview** The Inventory Planning Specialist is responsible for supporting the Inventory Planning Manager in all aspects of supply planning and purchasing. Other primary areas of focus include SO Inventory purchases, compiling data, as well as addressing stock related issues and questions from both internal and external sources. **What youll get to do** Present re-order quantities for foreign and domestic vendors for Supply Chain Management review based on trend analysis and future replenishment need. Initiate inventory purchase orders (POs) through ERP system. Manage weekly PO confirm and follow-up with vendor and ERP system. Communicate potential out of stock issues with Inventory Manager. Provide future forecasts to strategic vendors. Initiate and complete cycle count adjustments in ERP system when needed Resolve inventory and PO questions and related issues with internal and external partners. Compile and publish clearance tracking data to stakeholders as needed. Assist with compiling and reviewing physical inventories annually. **Qualifications** Bachelors degree in Business or related field with 2-3 years of inventory planning / forecasting experience preferred. APICS or similar certification preferred Strong understanding of inventory metrics and KPI measurements. Intermediate expertise understanding of Excel. Sound decision making skills, proactive and anticipatory approach in problem solving. Verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external partners. Ability to multitask and meet expected goals and timelines. Ability to establish and adjust priorities based on business needs and the current situation. Attention to detail and the ability to focus and follow through on issues. Ability to work with a large diverse group within a demanding fast paced environment. Flexibility to work outside of normal processes as required to meet business needs Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to focus and follow through on issues.
