Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Highway Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
Manage all preliminary aspects of highway/freeway projects
Lead and develop roadway staff
Monitor the quality of design and technical service delivery on transportation projects
Perform on technically complex projects and acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team members
Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-to schedule
Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller, Area Manager, and company management for project reviews as needed
Implement QA/QC procedures
Maintain professional engineering registration
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
A minimum 10 years related experience
A minimum 5 years project management experience delivering highway/freeway projects
Texas PE license
MS Office
Technical experience with the ability to mentor and oversee development of junior staff
Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills
