We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Manager of Operating Room OR, Surgical Services, and Perioperative Services RN in Northwestern, Oregon. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of current experience working in an ambulatory surgery center or an acute care hospital and have 5 years of current experience working in a management role in an Operating Room or Surgical Services.
Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services assists physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall operation of the surgery center and, participates in the development and implementation of the Center’s surgical policies & procedures, and will maintain standards to meet local, state and national regulatory compliance.
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services maintains open communication with all staff to promote quality improvement.
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services effectively manages staff scheduling, supervises the perioperative team, and promotes education and training.
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services will remain up-to-date on current recommended standards & practices by reading literature, researching, and attending in-services or conferences on related topics.
Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services works collaboratively with healthcare professionals for quality patient care
Requirements of the Nurse Manager of Operating Room OR Surgical Services
5 years of current experience working in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
5 years of current experience working in a management role in an Operating Room or Surgery Center.
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred
Current and Valid RN license
