What You’ll Do:

The eMobility Project Manager is responsible to support the implementation of a project portfolio to stand up a new business unit and drive the implementation of processes. This includes the pro-active communication with various departments at Velocity, host meetings, identify issues and additional tasks and follow-up with stakeholders on the completion of their tasks. The e Mobility Project Manager should communicate status, elicit information and present ideas/solutions to Management. Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the Trucking/Automotive Industry. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Project Management. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electric powertrains. A demonstrated willingness to learn and the ability to overcome obstacles. Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. A proven track record as a strong team player. Knowledge of Daimler’s vehicle line-up is preferred. Familiarity with relevant Daimler systems is a plus.

Principal Responsibilities:

Collaboration: Collaborate with various levels of the organization to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Timeline Management: Establish timelines, analyze and report project progress by pro-actively communicating status to Management. Organization and Drive: Organize and host project meetings to drive progress and manage timeline and reports. Vendor Management: Serve as the point of communication between teams and external resources as necessary. Problem Solving: Analyze risks and opportunities; proactively develop solutions to day-2-day problems and have a drive to learn and collaborate with others to implement solutions.

Compensation:

$90,000-$120,000/year based on experience
