NGINX, part of F5, is the curator of the popular open-source project. We offer a suite of technologies for developing, delivering, operationalizing, and securing modern applications. Together with F5, our combined solutions bridge the gap between NetOps, SecOps, and DevOps, with multi-cloud application services that span from the edge to the runtime. NGINX is delivering data plane software augmented by SaaS-based observability, management, and security services which we refer to as a Cloud Service.

Position Summary

We're looking for a product and people manager with experience as an owner and leader of a native service on a Cloud Service Provider where they have taken it from business case to product requirements definition to launch to proven product-market fit with well-defined and tracked metrics that correlate to a deep understanding of what success looks like for their overall business.

This position will :

Lead the transformation of NGINX from packaged, on-prem software to a mix of software with value-delivery led by cloud-based SaaS offerings. Bring new cloud-based services to market for new and existing customers. Own the product vision and roadmap for NGINX’s cloud-based services. Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to bring new products and new features to market. Define problem statements and product requirements led by a customer and community focus. Design and prioritize security features and standards, taking into consideration market trends, customer needs, and competitive differentiation. Work closely with engineering leadership to deliver new features with velocity. Work proactively with engineering teams on product design to balance customer value with implementation effort and risk and ensure that all requirements are met. Collaborate with sales, marketing and other functional teams to drive GTM activities including strategy, content creation, sales enablement, customer outreach, and continuously measuring against KPIs for success. Engage with customers to drive adoption of cloud-based services and bring actionable insights to the business. Establish clear and measurable metrics and KPIs for transparent tracking of what success means now and into the future. Be accountable for the success of security and compliance products and capabilities with visibility for business reviews.
