Job Summary

This position is responsible and accountable for managing proactively and responsively contract program reporting, meetings, risk/issue identification and resolution, joint planning with TriWest colleagues, and ensuring our company is following up on our customers’ needs and expectations.

Education & Experience

Required:

Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or equivalent 10 years of increasingly responsible program management experience in VA health system Recent and relevant experience with VA policies, processes and systems as well as the VA CCN program Experience in planning and executing complex programs and multiple projects using MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Experience in health care delivery facilities

Key Responsibilities

Leads the development and execution of VA Program Management Review (PMR) agendas, meetings, meeting logistics, reporting, and action items with VA program leaders and TriWest business owners and C-suite executives. Leads the development, review and timely submission of accurate Monthly Progress Report (MPR) and Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) reporting with TriWest Business Owners, Performance Management, QPI, ePMO, Data Management, Finance, Contract Administration, Military and Veteran Health Services and C-suite executives. Coordinates with VA and TriWest Business/Support leaders to solution and mitigate/resolve strategic and operational CCN program risks/issues. Leads CCN Contract Modification technical proposal by creating solutions and implementation planning/scheduling with VA and TriWest Business/Support, ePMO and Contract Administration. Manages VA and DoD joint strategic and operational planning and execution in support of Chief Planning and Implementation Officer. Oversees VA request and inquiry tracking/monitoring to ensure responsive follow-up. Develops effective working relationships with VA CCN leadership and routinely conduct proactive outreach to key contract program management leaders and follows-up to coordinate action as required. Develops effective collaborative relationships with TriWest's leaders of Business and Support Services, Military and Veteran Health Services, Performance Management, QPI, ePMO, Data Management, Finance, Contract Administration and C-suite executives to assure contract program meets and exceeds customer expectations. Participates in weekly Military and Veteran Health Services meetings to review CCN field opportunities for improvement. Participates in monthly meetings with VAMCs, Military and Veteran Health Services, and Provider Services to identify challenges and develop solutions. Participates in the ongoing commitment to gathering market research, assessing emerging customer needs, and developing new TriWest business opportunities. Supports the continuous process of enhancing efficiency, cost-control, and customer satisfaction with TriWest across the Region. Participates in the development of corporate VA strategic and operational initiatives Collaborates with other TriWest managers and consultants to stay attuned to diverse and emerging issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
