Job Description The Corporate Relationship Manager is responsible for driving loan originations by managing the sales cycle and the workflow between the Sales, Underwriting, Construction and Operations teams to help convert both lending and client opportunities into funded loans. The Corporate Relationship Manager will assist with building strong ties with clients, whereby referrals can be sourced directly by the Corporate Relationship Manager and Loan Officer. Essential Functions Achieve production goals set by Genesis senior management. Drive loan originations by closing new borrowers and loans from a variety of sources including company leads, referrals, industry involvement, etc. and cultivating existing borrower relationships. Support the effective communication of Genesis value proposition to existing and prospective borrowers Assist with deepening the Genesis relationship with existing and new borrowers by enhancing/creating a positive customer experience overall, with a specific focus on client wallet share. Maintain regular, scheduled contact with existing and new potential borrowers via in-person meetings, calls and emails and other means. Participate in relevant networking activities such as trade shows and industry conferences. Understand individual loan portfolio and assist with portfolio issues/tasks that need to be completed to maintain proper portfolio performance. Collaborate with other Genesis divisions including Credit, Construction and Valuations to facilitate a seamless process and an excellent customer experience initially and continuously throughout the relationship. Work directly with Lending Team Manager and Credit on loan/deal analysis, structuring, packaging, pricing, and borrower approval. Source and conduct initial analysis of new opportunities to evaluate adherence to Front End Guidance, identify key risks/mitigants, and work with Credit/Lending to propose an approvable loan structure to the client. Present new loan opportunities and borrower applications to the appropriate approval authority and/or attend Loan/Credit Review with Lending Team Manager and sales teams Lead periodic team huddles to actively manage opportunities in pipeline, ensuring client and property information is received in a timely fashion. Manage the workflow between Credit, Underwriting, Construction and Operations to close loans on schedule. Manage the collection of client financial reports, oversee project status updates, prepare loan extensions and modifications requests, coordinate covenant compliance, monitor client exposure limits, facilitate annual renewals. Provide monthly production projections as requested by CLO or LTM Provide a prioritization of the pipeline to Operations and Credit Specific oversight of the client onboarding process designed to introduce our customers to our team, our process and set appropriate expectations for loan approval and closing. Follow-up with clients, when required, on assuring loan payments are received when due by monitoring interest reserves, servicing reports and when directed by Credit. Perform other functions and assist with other projects as assigned by Lending Team Managers or Credit/Risk Management Professional

Ability to obtain a California Real estate license is required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Experience in sales environment Excellent customer service skills and relationship management capabilities, as well as a high level of attention to detail Additional Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to interface with high-powered clients and their teams Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Force and other computing systems Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Ability to work with little supervision and take ownership of responsibilities Adaptability to perform well in a changing, fast-paced work environment
