Research Administrator 2, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine - Military veterans preferred

Description As the Research Administrator 2 for the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Research Administration team, you will manage all pre-and post-award duties for portfolios consisting of federal, state, local and private sponsors. Primary duties include: *Manage assigned portfolio of intramural and extramural funds, from proposal and preparation to fund closeouts *Prepare and manage invoicing, reconcile ledgers to ensure proper spending, and project salary and expenses *Review proposal terms and final documents to ensure sponsor rules and guidelines are met *Serve as the administrative liaison to coordinate, organize, and retrieve documents from sub-award participants Salary Range: $28.78 - $59.34/hour

Qualifications * Ability to perform moderately complex financial analysis and customized reporting. * Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, sponsor and institutional policies pertaining to extramural funding. * Strong communication skills to articulate policies and procedures. * Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience. * Familiar with UC research administration policies regarding pre-award administration, proposal development, contracts and grant awards, subcontracts - preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
