Reports to: Parts Manager

Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with the shipping and receiving of parts and will learn the process of sale of retail, wholesale and internal parts. **Primary Responsibilities**

Duties and Responsibilities

Assists service technicians in determining parts and accessories requirements for individual jobs.

Takes service technicians orders for parts and fills them in a timely manner.

Notifies service team when special parts or back-ordered parts are received.

Maintains cleanliness of Parts and Accessories Department and keeps inventory neatly stacked and orderly. Keeps all bins, aisles and storage clean, neat and clearly labeled.

Handles telephone orders efficiently and courteously.

Prepares parts counter sales tickets and all related documents thoroughly.

Carefully reviews invoices against orders.

Assists with auditing inventory through continuous cycle count to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.

Informs parties responsible when special orders arrive.

Maintains an accurate customer back order file and reports all lost sales.

Writes purchase orders for parts as needed from outside suppliers.

Ensures that all funds received for inventory are be deposited in accordance with standard department policy.

Inspects all returned parts, including cores, before issuing credit or removal from an R.O.

Attends all personal performance development programs as outlined by management.

Performs other job-related duties as requested by management **Required Skills and Experience**

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in automotive field is required.

A minimum of 1 years experience in shipping and receiving or as a parts delivery driver.

CDK and Reynolds & Reynolds experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Valid Ontario Drivers License and a clean driver abstract.

Must maintain Forklift certification per OHSA guidelines.

Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Must be able to lift and carry products weighting up to a maximum of 50lbs.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.

Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. **Pfaffs Competitive Benefits**
